In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful,

the Most Compassionate

Praise be to Allah, and may His peace and blessings be upon Muhammad,

and upon his family and companions, and all those who follow him

Aku memohon ampun Ya Allah, Maha Penerima Taubat,
Aku memohon ampun Ya Allah daripada segala dosa,

Tambahkan kepadaku ilmu yang berguna,
Berikanlah aku amalan yang dimakbulkan,
Kurniakan kepadaku rezeki yg meluas,
Terimalah taubat kami dgn taubat nasuha

I ask pardon of God, the Granter of Repentance,
O Allah I ask the forgiveness of all our sins;

Provide me with
beneficial knowledge,
Confer me the grantful practices,
Bestowed upon me plentiful provision,
Accept our repentance with sincere repentance

Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alaiyhi wa sallam) has warned of us a day that will come, a day in which there will be no soul left on earth to hymn the name of Allah and it is only by the name of Allah that the system of this world is running. This most regretful day will come nearing the timing of the end of the world. Rasoolullah (sallallahu alaiyhi wa sallam) said, "The world and all its contents are cursed and devoid of Allah's mercy, except for three things:
(1) the dhikr, or remembrance, of Allah (and all other worships near it),
(2) the religious (and truthful) alim, and
(3) the student, who is a seeker of religious knowledge.

"Therefore, remember Me; I will remember you. Give thanks to Me and reject Me not."

Who is the Evil Dajjal ?
(the "anti-Christ")

Note: Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam  has exhorted the regular recital of Suratul Kahf which will most certainly save one from the Evils of Dajjal.

Hadhrat Imraan bin Husain radhiyallahu anhu  relates that, "I heard Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam  saying: "Since the birth of Aadam alayhis salaam till the advent of Qiyaamah there is no fitnah (evil, test) much greater that of Dajjal."

Hadhrat Huzaifah radhiyallahu anhu  says, Dajjal will be blind in his left eye. He will have very thick hair on his body and he will also have his own type of Jannat (Heaven) and Jahannam (Hell) with him: Although his Jannat will appear as Jannat, in reality it will be Jahannam and likewise though his Jahannam will appear to be Jahannam, in reality it will be Jannat.
(Hadith: Muslim)

Imraan bin Husain radhiyallahu anhu  says Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam  said: "Those who hear about Dajjal should stay far from him. By Allah! A person will approah him thinking him to be a Believer, but on seeing his amazing feats he will become his follower."

Ubadah bin Saamit radhiyallahu anhu once said, "I have explained Dajjal to you but I fear that you might not have understood. Maseeh Dajjal will be short, and his legs will be crooked. The hair on his head will be extremely twisted. He will have one eye (with which he can see, and this is the protruding eye about which other ahadeeth inform us) while his other eye will be totally flat. It will neither be deep (in its socket) nor protruding.

If you still have any doubt regarding him then remember that your Sustainer (Rabb) is not one-eyed. (Because Dajjal will eventually claim to be Allah). In a lengthy Hadith narrated by Abu Saeed radhiyallahu anhu , Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam  is reported to have said: "Dajjal will come but it will be prohibited and impossible for him to enter Madina. He will set up camp in a barren land outside Madina. One person who will be the best of persons will confront him by saying: "I bear witness that you are the very Dajjal about whom Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam  has informed us." Dajjal will say to his followers, "If I kill this person and then revive him, you people will still doubt me?" They will reply, "No." He will then kill this person, (according to another narration he will split this person in two) and thereafter revive him. This person will say, "I am totally convinced more than ever before that you definitely are Dajjal." Dajjal will attempt to kill this person again but his efforts will now be in vain.  (According to a hadith, after this incident, Dajjal will not be able to harm anyone.)

Hadhrat Anas radhiyallahu anhu  says that Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam  said: "Dajjal will come and finally reach the outskirts of Madina. There will be three tremors. At that time, all the disbelievers and hypocrites will flee (from Madina).

In this way Madina Munawwarah will be purified of all the evil hypocrites.

Hadhrat Asma bint Yazeed radhiyallahu anhu  narrates that Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam once came to my house and there he spoke about Dajjal. He said that before the emergence of Dajjal there will be three spells of drought. In one year the skies will withold one third of its rains, causing the earth to withold one third of its produce. In the second year the skies will withold two thirds of its rains, causing the earth to withold two thirds of its produce. In the third year, the skies will withold all its water and there will be no crops that year. All animals, be they hooved or toothed, will die as a result. The greatest evil of Dajjall will be to approach anyone and ask him: "If I bring your camel back to life, will you then believe that I am your Rabb?"
This person will reply, "Most certainly."

Thereafter Shaytaan (from the many Shayateen who will always accompany Dajjal) will appear before this person in the form of his camel with a fat hump and fully laden udders.

Likewise Dajjal will appear before another person whose father and brother have long passed away and ask him, "If I bring your father and brother back to life will you believe that I am your Rabb?"
This person will reply, "Why not?" Shaytaan will once again take on the appearance of his brother and father...
(Ahmad)

Hadhrat Mughira ibn Shu'ba radhiyallahu anhu  says that, "No one asked Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam  about Dajjal as much as myself. Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam  said to me, "How can he possibly harm you?"
I said: "People are saying that he will have with him a mountain of bread (provisions) and a river of water."

Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam  said: "In the sight of Allah he is much more disgraced than that. (i.e. Allah knows full well that in reality Dajjal has nothing with him, and all that which appears to be with him is but deception). (Bukhari and Muslim).

Other Ahaadeeth regarding Dajjal inform us that:
  • He will emerge between Shaam and Iraq, and his emergence will become known when he is in Isfahaan at a place called Yahudea.
  • The Yahudis (Jews) of Isfahaan will be his main followers.
  • Apart from having mainly Yahudi followers, he will have a great number of women followers as well.
  • He will have with him fire and water, but in reality the fire will be cold water while that what appears to be cold water will in reality be a blazing fire. Those who obey him will enter "his Jannat" while those who disobey him will enter "his Jahannam."
  • There will be a thick fingernail-like object in his left eye.
  • The letters "Kaaf"  "Faa"  "Raa"  will appear on his forehead and will be deciphered by all Mu'mineen regardless of them being literate or not.
  • He will have a wheatish complexion.
  • He will travel at great speeds and his means of conveyance will be a gigantic mule. It is said that he will play beautiful music which will attract the music lovers.
  • Dajjal will lay claim to prophethood.
  • He will then lay claim to Divinity.
  • He will perform unusual feats.
  • He will travel the entire world.
  • He will send down rains upon those who believe in him, which in turn will cause good crops to grow, trees to bear fruit and cattle to grow fat.
  • He will cause drought to those who disbelieve in him, resulting in starvation and hardship for them.
  • During those trying times the Mu'mineen will satiate their hunger through the recitation of Subhanallah and La'ilaha Ilallahu.
  • The hidden treasures will spill forth at his command.
  • He will stay on this Earth for a period of forty days; the length of the first day will be one year, the second day will be equal to one month, the third day will be equal to a week and the remaining days will be normal.
  • He will be unable to enter Makkah because the Malaikah will be guarding the Holy City and nor will he be able to enter Madina because there will be Malaikah guarding each of the seven entrances to Madina; From Madina he will proceed towards Shaam where Imaam Mahdi will be stationed.
  • Finally Eisa alayhis salaam will descend from the heavens and pursue him and eventually kill him at present day Lydda (Baad Lud).
Dajjal Has Secretly Started Work
HARUN YAHYA

It is revealed in a great many reliable hadith that the Messiah Dajjal (Antichrist) will appear in the End Times, the final age before the Day of Judgment, turn people away from religious moral values, and wreak great confusion and oppression on Earth.

In one of his hadith our Prophet (SAW) has drawn attention to the terrible scale of the strife of the Dajjal in the words "Since the birth of Adam (as) till the advent of the Judgment Day there is no fitnah (tribulation) much greater than that of Dajjal," and warned all people against this peril. In another hadith he indicates that the strife of the Dajjal is a grave danger not only for Muslims but for all people in the words "Every prophet came to warn his nation of the deception of the Dajjal."

It would seem from the fact that the portents of the appearance of the Dajjal related by our Prophet (SAW) in the hadith have one by one come to pass that the Messiah Dajjal has already appeared. A great many events experienced on Earth are in complete agreement with the information provided by our Prophet (SAW) and Islamic scholars regarding the time the Messiah Dajjal will appear and the deeds he will perform. The great Islamic scholar Bediuzzaman Said Nursi has reported that the power and rule of the Dajjal are based on violence and oppression in the words "...The Dajjal appears to have greater dominion than they deserve, acquired through great oppression and great cruelty and great violence and brutality." The increasing violence, anarchy and chaos, the slaughter and torture, and state and organizational terrorist acts in recent times all show that the Dajjal is at work and is directing all of these.

In his hadith our Prophet (SAW) has reported that the Dajjal will resort to all means to turn people away from the path of goodness and will bring large masses of people under his influence by means of deception and cheating. He has stated that in this way the Dajjal will lead people as he wishes in the hadith "The Dajjal has many followers. Many people will line up alongside him."

In order to achieve these aims the Dajjal will seek to deceive believers just as much as he will those who have chosen denial. It is also revealed in hadith that with the propaganda and tactics he employs, the Dajjal will succeed in deceiving many people whose faith is weak, and will thus gather support:
Whoever hears about the Dajjal should keep away from him. By Allah! One will come to him and he will think that he is a believer, but he will follow him [Dajjal] on account of the doubts that he will raise in his mind.

When you hear that the Dajjal has appeared, flee him. Because a person may go to his side while yet intending to deny him, but will remain and follow him. That is because there are many things with the Dajjal that fill the heart with misgivings.

It is indicated in the hadith of our Prophet (SAW) that to that end the Dajjal will approach the members of the three revealed religions, Jews, Christians and Muslims, with different methods, and will seek to wreak terrible strife and corruption by turning them against one another. It is revealed in hadith that as a result of this strife of the Dajjal's, the world will become the stage for a great war, that blood will be shed and the numbers of dead will rise dramatically. It is reported that nowhere will be beyond the Dajjal's sights:
[At that time] there will be much tribulation, confusion and disorder, and people will kill one another. People will take their own lives and disasters will enfold the earth. At such a troubled time ... the accursed Dajjal ... will appear.
... The Dajjal will emerge from a rocky place, and will swiftly cause violent mischief on the right and on the left [in other words by sending armies to both sides].

There is no city which will not be vanquished by the armies of the Dajjal.

In order to depict anarchy, terror, violence, war and bloodshed as supposedly legitimate, the Dajjal seeks to deceive some believers with the falsehood that these disasters must inevitably take place in the End Times. According to the Dajjal's strategy, in order for the glad tidings imparted regarding the End Times to take place, civilizations must first turn against one another, and there must be a terrible war. According to this error, before the appearance of the Messiah, who is expected in the End Times, a terrible battle known as Armageddon must take place, between the Jews and some Christians who support them on the one hand, and Muslims and Catholics on the other.

According to the indoctrination of the Dajjal, "there must be a period of disaster lasting seven years; Jews and other believers must be oppressed during that period; and two-thirds of Jews must die in the battle of Armageddon and the lands of Israel must be devastated." By means of a series of figurative, but groundless interpretations of holy scriptures, the Dajjal seeks to make Christians and Jews believe that the Messiah can only come to earth once all these conditions have been fulfilled. According to this belief, inculcated in Christians by the Dajjal, the Jews will win that battle under the leadership of Prophet 'Isa (as), will follow him, and will return to Christianity.

The Dajjal seeks to lead a number of Christian groups in the direction of confusion by making them believe that a number of preconditions need to be met if Prophet 'Isa (as) is to return to earth. The fact is, however, that there is no confusion here at all. Dajjalism is the absence of belief in Allah. The presence of belief in Allah is Messiahhood. The coming of Prophet 'Isa (as) is a miracle from Allah. However, this is not a matter that requires confusion beforehand. Throughout history Allah has supported prophets with a great many miracles. Allah shows people a great many miracles of creation at every moment of their lives. Features such as the perfect equilibrium in the universe, the extraordinarily complex structure in the cell, the marvels in animals and plants, and the flawless functioning of the human body are all great miracles. Allah creates many beauties so that believers may perfect their faith. The coming of Prophet 'Isa (as) is a beautiful event created by Allah for joy of faith, and is a gift of faith. When the time appointed by Allah comes, He will show Prophet 'Isa (as) to all mankind. Involving confusion and many preconditions in such a beautiful event must be seen as part of the Dajjal's devilish plan, and people must be on their guard against that snare.

The importance of brotherhood in Islam can not be over stressed. There are many hadiths relating to the fact the Muslims are a single united body, each part responsible for the other. Accordingly if one of the parts is injured or hurt then the rest of the body immediately feels that pain and is certainly uncomfortable at the situation until it is rectified without delay. The brotherhood of Muslims is a very deep and wide concept that guarantees the safety and well being of the Society at large. Islam being a complete way of life is primarily for the society, it promotes a healthy and a well disciplined life style in every sense of the word.

It is forbidden, for example, for two Muslims to start a whispering conversation in the presence of the third. This might offend the one left out and weaken the Brotherhood. It is not permissible for a Muslim to sever relations with his brother for more than three days.

"It is sufficient evil for a Muslim that he should look down upon his brother. The life, wealth, and honour of a Muslim are inviolable by another Muslim" [Sahih Muslim].

Brotherhood is synonynous with Islam. It is a force for good, a purveyor of peace and justice for everyone. It provides stablility in a quarrelsome world. To the downtrodden and oppressed everywhere in the past, it provided freedom. When it was powerful, it even saved the Jews and Christians in Palestine and Spain from each other.

Muslims are not allowed to kill the women and children of their enemies even in war. How could we support the killing of our own women and children? A Muslim is not really a believer if he eats his full while ignoring the plight of a hungry neighbour. How could a believer then participate in economic sanctions designed to starve his own people to death?

When giving commands regarding the Islamic Brotherhood, the Quran uses a beautiful style with a profound message.

But when you enter the houses, greet one another with a greeting from Allâh (i.e. say: As-Salâmu 'Alaikum - peace be on you) blessed and good. Thus Allâh makes clear the Ayât (these Verses or your religious symbols and signs, etc.) to you that you may understand. [Surah An Nur Ayah 61].
O you who believe! Let not a group scoff at another group, it may be that the latter are better than the former; nor let (some) women scoff at other women, it may be that the latter are better than the former, nor defame one another, nor insult one another by nicknames. How bad is it, to insult one's brother after having Faith [i.e. to call your Muslim brother (a faithful believer) as: "O sinner", or "O wicked", etc.]. And whosoever does not repent, then such are indeed Zâlimûn (wrong-doers, etc.). [Surah Al-Hujarat Ayah 11].

The message is clear: Whatever is happening to others in the Brotherhood, is actually happening to yourself. Any aggression against any part of the Brotherhood is an aggression against all of it.

With the name of Allah, the All-Merciful, Very-Merciful.

Praise belongs to Allah, the Lord of all the Worlds. May there be blessings and peace upon our master, Muhammad, and upon his family and companions.

Dear brothers, in this khutbah (sermon), we will continue discussing the topic of raising children in a context of religious estrangement (i.e. Muslim-minority America), emphasizing to fathers and mothers the necessity of instilling and deeply rooting the tenants of faith, taqwa (God fearing), high moral character, the virtue of brotherhood and love, the meanings of rahmat (mercy), altruism, clemency, wisdom, courage, and other noble principles in the hearts of our children.

But today we will especially discuss the virtue of instilling brotherhood, friendliness, and love. Allah most-exalted says ‘All believers are but brothers’ (49:10).

Oh dear gathering of Muslims, know that from the fruits of children‟s proper education is the development of sound tenets of faith, taqwa of Allah most-exalted, an Islamic, prophetic character which results in brotherhood, friendliness, and love. Therefore, it is imperative for the truthful Muslim to feel that brotherhood for the sake of Allah is of the strongest of links…that it is even stronger than genetic brotherhood itself! Brotherhood for the sake of Allah is built on altruism, rahmat, pardoning though possessing the ability to exact revenge, and abstinence from every action that hurts the person, property, or honor of men6. The youth who inculcate these characteristics will be amongst those shaded under the throne of Ar-Rahman (God ‘the All-Merciful’) on the day there is no shade save His.

The Messenger of Allah said that Allah most exalted will say on the day of Resurrection. Where are those who loved each other for the sake of my majesty? Today I will shade them in My shade; a day there is no shade save Mine.‟ (The Authenticated Hadith Collection of Imam Muslim)

The Messenger of Allah, also said „One of you does not truly believe until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself.‟ (Agreed upon)

Oh dear gathering of Muslims; By Allah, the one besides whom there is no god, we face a grave risk if we don‟t raise our children on these praiseworthy, precious Islamic qualities; we must take practical steps to infuse them, and take advantage of the lessons of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, and his companions, may Allah be pleased with all of them.

Thank You Allah (SWT): Bear problems with patience
The will of Allah (SWT) will not bring us to a place where the grace of Allah (SWT) will not protect us!
Locks are never manufactured without a key. Similar Allah (SWT) never gives you problems without solutions. Only we need to unlock them. They don't come together.
Every problem carries wonderful opportunities. So never run away from problems. Instead face them boldly with patience and problems will be no more.

Remember ...
Smooth roads never make a skillful driver
Smooth sea never makes a skillful sailor
Clear sky never makes a skillful pilot
Problems free life never makes a skillful person
Hence, get going tough ...

If you think you are unhappy, look at them? If you think you are unhappy, look at them?
If you think your job is tough, how about him? If you think your job is tough, how about him?
If you think your salary is low, how about her? If you think your salary is low, how about her?
If you think you don't have many friends, ask yourself if you have one sincere friend? If you think you don't have many friends, ask yourself if you have one sincere friend?
If you think study is a burden, how about her? If you think study is a burden, how about her?
When you feel like giving up, think of this man! When you feel like giving up, think of this man!
If you think you suffer in life, do you suffer as much as he does? If you think you suffer in life, do you suffer as much as he does?
If you complain about your transport system, how about them? If you complain about your transport system, how about them?
If your society is unfair to you, how about her? If your society is unfair to you, how about her?

Be thankful of what you have and stop complaining. Allah (SWT) has been generous towards you, Thank Allah (SWT) in return.
Remember: Be bold when you loose and be calm when you win.

Heated gold becomes ornament. Beaten copper becomes wires. Depleted stone becomes statue. So the more pain you get in life you become more valuable.

It is narrated from Imam Ali (as) advising Kumayl as follows:
In every hardship say: 'Laa Hawala Wala Qowwata Illa Billah Al Ali Al Azeem', and you will be protected from it.

In every bounty say: Alhamdullah, and you will get more bounties from Allah (SWT).
When income is delayed, seek forgiveness (Istighfaar), Allah (SWT) then grant you more income.
There is a Hadith that says 'La Hawla Wala Quwwata illa billahil aliyul adheem' is such a great medicine that it cures every disease and the most minor disease it cures is 'Sorrow' (Gham).

SURAH AL BAQARAH
Sura al-Baqarah (Arabic: سورة البقرة, Sūratu l-Baqarah, "The Cow") is the Qur'an's second and longest chapter. It is a Medinan sura and comprises 286 verses, including the single longest verse in the Qur'an (2:282).The sura's name references verses 67–73 which recall the story of the golden calf worshipped as an idol by the Israelites during Moses' absence.

Other notable passages include the famous āyat al-kursī or "Throne Verse", as well as the closing two verses which outline the six articles of belief before forming a prayer for forgiveness, divine mercy, and help against the enemies of faith.
THE VIRTUE
In Musnad Ahmad, Sahih Muslim, At-Tirmidhi and An-Nasa'i, it is recorded that Abu Hurayrah said that the Prophet said,
Do not turn your houses into graves. Verily, Shaytan does not enter the house where Surah Al-Baqarah is recited.
At-Tirmidhi said, "Hasan Sahih".
Also, Abdullah bin Mas`ud said,
"Shaytan flees from the house where Surah Al-Baqarah is heard.''
In his Musnad, Ad-Darimi recorded that Ibn Mas`ud said,
"Shaytan departs the house where Surah Al-Baqarah is being recited, and as he leaves, he passes gas.''
Ad-Darimi also recorded that Ash-Sha`bi said that Abdullah bin Mas`ud said,
"Whoever recites ten Ayat from Surah Al-Baqarah in a night, then Shaytan will not enter his house that night. These ten Ayat are;

 TRANSLATION

1. Ya-Sin. (Only Allah and the Messenger [blessings and peace be upon him] know the real meaning.)
2. By the Qur’an, full of Wisdom,
3. You are indeed one of the Messengers,
4. On the Straight Path.
5. This is revealed by Almighty, Ever-Merciful,
6. That you may warn the people whose fathers were (also) not warned. So they are careless and neglectful.
7. In fact Our Command has proved true against most of them. So they will not believe.
8. Surely We have put iron collars round their necks reaching their chins. So they have raised their heads up.
9. And We have set a wall before them and a wall behind them, and We have cast a veil over their eyes so they do not see anything.
10. And it is all the same for them whether you warn or do not warn them, they will not believe.
11. You can only warn him who follows the direction and guidance and fears the Most Kind Lord unseen. So give him the good news of forgiveness and a reward of great honour.
12. Surely We alone raise the dead alive. And We are writing down (the deeds) which they have sent forward and their effects (that are left behind). And We have encompassed everything in the illumining Book (al-Lawh al-Mahfuz).
13. And (in story-telling style) narrate to them the example of the people of a city (Antioch – an ancient city in North Syria), when there came to them some Messengers.
14. When (at first) We sent to them two Messengers, they rejected them both. Then We reinforced (them) with a third (Messenger). Then the three of them said: ‘Surely we have been sent to you.’
15. (The people of the city) said: ‘You are but human beings like us, and the Most Kind Lord has not sent down anything. You are only lying.’
16. (The Messengers) said: ‘Our Lord knows that assuredly we have been sent to you.
17. And there is no binding upon us except to communicate the message expressly.’
18. (The people of the city) said: ‘An evil omen has reached us from you. If you do not desist, we shall certainly stone you and you will definitely suffer an agonizing punishment at our hands.’
19. (The Messengers) said: ‘Your evil omen is with you. Is it an evil omen that you are admonished? Nay, but you are a people who exceed limits.’
20. And a person came running from the farthest end of the city. He said: ‘O my people, follow the Messengers.
21. Follow those who do not ask from you any compensation and who are rightly guided.
22. And what is the matter with me that I should not worship Him Who has created me and to Him (all of) you will be returned?
23. Should I take such gods apart from Him (Allah) that if the Most Kind Lord intends to do me any harm, their intercession would not bring me any benefit, nor would they be able to rescue me?
24. Then, certainly I would be in open error.
25. Surely, I have believed in your Lord, so listen to me (attentively).’
26. (The disbelievers martyred him; then it) was said (to him): ‘(Come,) enter Paradise.’ He said: ‘Alas! Would that my people knew,
27. That my Lord has forgiven me and put me among the honoured and near ones.’
28. And, after him, We did not send any army (of angels) from the heaven to his people, nor were We to send down (angels to destroy them).
29. (Their torment) was nothing but a Mighty Blast, and there were they put out (dead like charred coal).
30. Ah! Woe to (these) servants! Never did a Messenger come to them but they used to mock him.
31. Have they not seen how many communities We destroyed before them, and that now they will not return to them,
32. But that all of them will be brought before Our Presence?
33. And a sign for them is the dead earth to which We gave life, and We brought forth from it (grain); then they eat of it.
34. And We produced in it gardens of date-palms and grapes, and also caused some springs as well to gush forth in it,
35. So that they may eat of its fruits. And it is not their hands that made it. Do they not thank (even) then?
36. Glory be to Him Who created everything in pairs of those the earth grows and of themselves as well and, (moreover,) of the things they do not know.
37. And (also) a sign for them is the night: (how) We draw the day out from it! So then they are left in darkness!
38. And the sun is always rotating (non-stop) for its appointed destination. It is a measure fixed by Almighty, All-Knowing (Lord).
39. And We have also appointed stages (of motion and rotation) of the moon till (its appearance to the dwellers of the earth wanes to) the semblance of an old dry branch of a palm-tree.
40. Neither can the sun (deviate from its orbit and) overtake the moon nor can the night precede the day and all (the stars and planets) are moving in their (respective) orbits.
41. And a Sign for them is (also) that We boarded their fathers (the Children of Adam) into the laden Ark of (Nuh [Noah] and saved them).
42. And like this (Ark) We made for them (many other means of transport) which they ride.
43. And if We intend We drown them. Then, there will not be any to respond to their cry, nor will they be saved anyway,
44. Except for Our Mercy and (this) provision is for an appointed term.
45. And when it is said to them: ‘Fear that (torment) which is before you and which is behind you so that you may be shown Mercy.’
46. And not a Sign of the Signs of their Lord comes to them but they turn away from it.
47. And when it is said to them: ‘Spend (in the way of Allah) of what Allah has given you,’ the disbelievers say to the believers: ‘Shall we feed that (poor) man whom, if Allah so willed, He would feed (Himself)?’ You are but (caught) in clear error.
48. And they say: ‘When will this promise (of the Last Hour) be fulfilled if you are truthful?’
49. They are simply waiting for a Mighty Blast which will seize them (all of sudden), and they will be disputing among themselves.
50. Then they will not be able to make a will or to return to their families.
51. And (when) the Trumpet will be blown (again) they will come out of the graves at once and run towards their Lord.
52. (Seeing the horrors of the Hour of Resurrection,) they will say: ‘Ah, woe to us! Who has raised us from our sleeping apartments? This (coming back to life) is the same that the Most Kind Lord promised and the Messengers spoke the Truth.’
53. This will only be a Mighty Blast. Then all of them will be brought to Our Presence straight away.
54. So today no soul will be wronged in the least. Nor will you be rewarded except for the deeds you used to do.
55. Surely the residents of Paradise will be rejoicing today (in their) favourite pastime pursuits (like spiritual visits, entertainments, sessions of hymns and spiritual musical performance and other favours).
56. They and their wives will be reclining on raised couches under the deep calming shades.
57. There they will be provided with fruits (of every kind) and will find (available) everything they will solicit.
58. ‘Peace (be upon you)!’ (This) greeting will be conveyed (to them) from the Ever-Merciful Lord.
59. ‘And, O evildoers, get aside (from the righteous) this Day.
60. O Children of Adam! Did I not take this covenant from you not to worship Satan; no doubt he is your open enemy;
61. And that you keep worshipping Me alone? That is the straight path.
62. And surely he led great many of you astray, so had you not any wisdom?
63. This is the same Hell that was being promised to you.
64. Enter this Hell today, for you kept disbelieving.’
65. Today We shall seal their mouths, and their hands will speak to Us, and their feet will bear witness to the deeds which they used to earn.
66. And if We had so willed, We would have obliterated the very marks of their eyes. Then if they would have run on the path, how could they have seen?
67. And if We had so intended, We would have defaced them in their places. Then they would have power neither to go forward nor to turn back.
68. And someone whom We give long life, We cause him to degenerate (towards childhood and debility) in strength and disposition. So, do they not have sense?
69. And We have not taught him (the Holy Messenger [blessings and peace be upon him]) composing poetry, nor does it befit his dignity. This (Book) is but direction and guidance and the illumining Qur’an,
70. So that it may warn the one who is alive and the word of judgment may be proved against the disbelievers.
71. Have they not seen that We created for them cattle out of the (Creation) We made with Our Mighty Hand; so they are their owners?
72. And We subjected those (cattle) to them. So some of them are their riding animals, and they eat some of them.
73. And there are other benefits and drinks in them as well for them. Then why they do not give thanks?
74. And they have made idols their gods other than Allah with the hope that they will be helped.
75. These idols are incapable of helping them. And these (disbelievers and polytheists) will be an army of these (idols) that will be brought (into Hell together).
76. So let not what they utter hurt you. Surely We know whatever they hide and whatever they make public.
77. Has man not seen that We have created him from a sperm drop? Even then, he has become an open adversary.
78. And he (himself) puts forth examples for Us and has forgotten (the truth of) his creation. He says: ‘Who will give life to bones when they will have been decomposed?’
79. Say: ‘He Who created them the first time will give them life. And He knows best every Creation,
80. He Who produces fire for you out of the green tree so now you kindle fire with the same!
81. And has He Who created the heavens and the earth not the power to create the like of them (again)?’ Yes indeed! And He is the Supreme Creator, All-Knowing.
82. His Command (of creation) is only that when He intends (to create) something, He says to it: ‘Be,’ so it instantly becomes (existent or visible and continues becoming).
83. So, Glory be to Him in Whose Hand (Power and Control) is the Sovereignty over everything and to Him you will be returned.

THE VIRTUE

1. The Prophet (SalAllahu alayhi wasalam) said, ‘Surely everything has a heart, and the heart of the Qur’an is Yasin. I would love that it be in the heart of every person of my people’[Bazzar]. (S.Muhammad Ali Sabuni, Tafsir-al-Sabuni Vol.2)

2. The Prophet (SalAllahu alayhi wasalam) said, ‘Whoever recites Yasin once Allah will record the reward of reciting the Qur’an ten times.’[Maqal, Tirmidhi 2812/A & Dhahabi]

3. It has been reported by Aisha (radiAllahu anha)that the Prophet (SalAllahu alayhi wasalam) said that there is a surah in the Qur’an that intercedes for its reciter and forgive its listener. Know! It is Surah Yasin. (It is called ‘Mu’amma’ in the Torah.) It was enquired, what is Mu’amma? The Prophet (SalAllahu alayhi wasalam) said, ‘it embraces the person with the goodness of this world and removes the dismay of the Hereafter’[Hashiya of Tafsir Jalalalayn , pg 368].

4. The Prophet said, ‘Whoever recited Surah Yasin in the night seeking Allah’s pleasure, Allah would forgive him’[Ibn Hibban, Darimi 3283/A, Abu Yala, Tabarani, Baihaqi & Ibn Mardawaih]

5. Ma`qil ibn Yasar (Allah be pleased with him) relates that the Messenger of Allah (Allah’s blessings and peace be upon him, his family, companions, and followers) said,”Ya Sin is the heart of the Qur’an. No one reads it intending thereby Allah and the Next Abode except that Allah forgives them. Recite it for your deceased ones.” [Related by Ahmad, Abu Dawud, Nasa'i (this wording is his), and Hakim, who deemed it rigorously authenticated (sahih)]

6. Imam Ghazali explained that this is because soundness of faith rests on acknowledging Resurrection and Judgment, and Surat Ya Sin details this in the most emphatic of ways. Imam Fakhr al-Din al-Razi concurred.

7. Imam Tibi explained in his commentary on Mishkat al-Masabih that Surat Ya Sin was called ‘the Heart of the Qur ‘an ‘ because of what it contains of overwhelming proofs, decisive signs, subtle spiritual meanings, eloquent admonition, and stern warnings.
